And, the best thing is that UK citizens holding an Indian visa for tourism or business purposes can stay up to 180 days continuously, providing that their India visa is valid.

Precautions to take

  • Don’t talk to the guides or travel experts without any ID proof of being from a registered organization.
  • Don’t visit unlit or less crowded areas.

  • Don’t visit in summers if you are allergic to the hot season.
  • Always keep your valid Indian visa with yourself and show it to officials.
  • Have some cash, many small shopkeepers and rural-people don’t accept online payments.
  • Don’t kiss or hug your better half publicly.
  • Remove shoes or sleepers before entering religious places
  • Stay in only reputed places.
  • While visiting patriotic destinations of India or anywhere, don’t talk about the British Rule in glowing terms.
